 FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions

Provided below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding the Coronado Beach Junior Lifeguard Program.

  • Prior to registering all junior lifeguard (JG) applicants must pass the swim test.  To sign up for a swim test go to The City of Coronado Recreation and Golf Services website and click on the “PerfectMind book online” link Login (perfectmind.com) . Please sign up for ONLY one swim test at a time and attend the scheduled swim test before scheduling an additional swim test. This is because there are limited swim test openings and signing up for multiple swim tests prevents other JG applicants from scheduling a swim test.
  • For additional information email us at [email protected] . Due to limited staffing please allow two (2) business days for a response.
  • Unless it is during JG operations (during the summer 8:00 to 12:30) please do not leave a message at the (619) 522-2629.
