Affordable housing is only available to those who meet certain income requirements. These income requirements are set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, per the San Diego County median income. Tenants are required to submit an annual income certification to verify eligibility.
Each property is managed individually. Therefore, the City does not maintain waiting lists nor directly certify tenants for program eligibility.
To find out if there are any vacancies or to be added to a property's waiting list, contact the property managers indicated on the Coronado Affordable Housing Properties list (see link below). These requirements, which are set by the State and Federal Governments, are the same throughout San Diego County.
